You’ll need to give each learner permission to access the different Twinkl apps. To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Sign in to your Twinkl account, click on your name at the top right of the page and click ‘Learner Management’
Step 2 - Click on the ‘edit’ icon to bring up the ‘Learner Profile’ box. Click the ‘Access' tab.
Step 2 - Toggle on or off the apps that you would like the learner to have access to. Click ‘Save Access Changes’ to save any changes.
To edit multiple users’ permission at the same time you'll need to bring up the table view shown below. Go to ‘Learner Apps’ from the side bar and select ‘Manage App Access’ on the right. Select the checkbox next to the learners’ names. Selecting and deselecting apps will give or remove access to learner apps.
App Settings
Some of our web apps require individual settings before they are ready for learners to use. These settings allow you to specify which parts of the apps your learners see or can interact with. You can tailor settings to your learners' needs or academic ability. These must be set up for the following apps to work: Twinkl Maths, Twinkl Phonics, Rhino Readers, Twinkl Spelling and ESL Curriculum Games.
Here is an example from Twinkl Spelling:
Step 1 - Select Learner Apps from the Learner Logins sidebar menu.
Step 2 - Find the app, in this case 'Spelling' and choose the ‘Settings’ button below.
Step 3 - In the table, under the heading 'Access' you will see if the learner has access enabled or if they require settings to be set up.
Step 4 - Click on the 'Manage Settings' (the green square with person and cog) icon to bring up the settings.
Step 5 - Add the settings for your learner in the table. Don't forget to save when you're done.
Step 6 - To save time you can use the 'Bulk' settings to apply settings to more than one learner at a time.
Reporting
Some of our apps report attainment and progress of your learners. The reporting can be launched from the Learner Apps page and will show you which learners are engaging with apps and what rewards they are achieving. Here is an example from Twinkl Spelling:
Step 1 - Select Learner Apps from the Learner Logins sidebar menu.
Step 2 - Find the app, in this case 'Spelling', and choose the ‘Reporting’ button below
Step 3 - Here you can view an overview or more detailed views by world and by level.
Step 4 - You can use filters on the detailed view to refine your data.
