General Guidance & Getting Started
Before you start to play, first make sure your device has plenty of charge so you can enjoy lots of game time. Next, find a great space to play in.
Make sure you use a room that's well-lit, with enough space for the player/s to move around in freely. Avoid pointing your device at direct sunlight.
Now, start the app by clicking on its icon, and follow the simple instructions displayed.
Finally, find a flat surface such as a table top, or a space on the floor. If the surface is smooth, with only few visual features (such as a white table top, or a plain carpet) please place several small objects in the playing area - this will enable the app to track the surface properly.
Respond to the icon that asks you to move your device around slowly - this is the AR scanning process to accurately place your game area. As this happens, you'll see yellow dots appear to show which surface areas the device is scanning.
As soon as a flat surface is detected, you'll will be prompted to 'place' the game area to start the game. Now you can start building!
In multiplayer mode up to four people can play the game together - each player needs their own device.
You'll be shown an icon asking you to move your device around slowly - this is the AR scanning process to accurately place your game area. As this happens, you'll see yellow dots appear to show which surface areas the device is scanning. Please make sure each player scans the same surface from the same angle.
As soon as a flat surface is detected, your device will automatically set up the multiplayer function - please make sure that each player is connected to the same WiFi connection. Once done, you'll then be taken to the lobby where you'll be matched with the other players.
When everyone is ready, press Go! You'll then be asked to scan the same surface again. This time, all the players should move around while scanning the surface, so all the devices are scanning the same area.
When this final scanning is completed, each player will see a loading screen. The first player to connect will then receive some short instructions, showing how to place the game area onto the surface. Complete this and it's time to play!
