If you find a resource is not printing as displayed on the preview image, there are a few things you can do.
- Under the print options for your printer, there may be an option to 'Fit to Page'. If so, please try enabling this and try printing again. Alternatively, if there is a print scaling option, changing this to smaller standard size, such as 97%, will shrink the resource slightly and should allow it to print correctly.
- If the resource is not correctly displaying when you open it on your device or in print preview, we recommend saving the resource to your device first. You can do this by right-clicking the 'Download Now' button and selecting 'Save Link As...' to save the resource to a folder of your choice. You can then go to the folder to open the resource in the correct software and print it.
For PDF resources, we recommend using Adobe Reader for best compatibility. If Adobe Reader is already installed on your computer, please make sure this is up to date by clicking the 'Help' tab at the top of the screen, and selecting 'Check for updates'.
- There might be an issue with the images being sent to your printer correctly. When you open the resource in Adobe Acrobat Reader and select "Print", there should be a button near the top of the Print window which says 'Advanced'. There should be an option in there to 'Print as image' - please select this, then click 'OK' and try the printing again.
The video below demonstrates the steps above.
