There may be an occasion when the system is unable to take a membership payment.
This can happen when:
- A card has expired or been cancelled.
- There are insufficient funds. If you’re using a prepaid card, this might need topping up.
- A bank doesn't support or allow recurring transactions. Please contact your card issuer to check this.
- A card is not enabled for foreign, secure online, recurring payments. You can contact your bank or credit card company to check whether they allow payments to a UK company.
If the payment fails whilst purchasing a membership, you may wish to use another payment method. You can also double-check whether any of the points above apply to your payment method and contact TwinklCares for further help.
If a payment for an auto renewing monthly or annual membership fails, you will continue to have access to the membership. You will receive an email to let you know we were unable to take a payment and the system will make another attempt to take a payment over the next few days. During this time you can check or update your payment method on your account by visiting the Payment & Memberships area of your account.
