To ensure all the features of our digital resources work as intended, follow this straightforward guidance.
Google Slides
Lots of our presentations, games, and digital task cards are now available as Google Slides, as well as PowerPoint. Look for the Google Slides label on our resource previews.
When you have found a Google Slides resource you want to use, download its PDF guidance by clicking the green "Download Now" button beneath the preview. The guidance includes links to the Google Slides and PowerPoint presentations for you to use in your classroom setting.
- Google Slides: Click the link in the guidance to make a copy that saves to your Google Drive.
- PowerPoint: Click the link to open the presentation in view mode, then download and save the file.
Digital PDFs
We have lots of digital worksheets and activities that can be downloaded and completed digitally. Look for the digital label on our resource previews.
First, open the file with a standalone PDF viewing app rather than in your web browser.
If you are using a PC:
- Download the PDF file from the Twinkl website to your computer.
- Locate the file in your file browser. By default, this will be your "Downloads" folder.
- Open the file in a PDF viewer. For the digital resource to be fully functional and correctly formatted, you need to use Adobe Reader. You can download the latest version here.
The digital elements will now be fully functional. Remember to save the file once you've added text to it.
If you are using an iPhone or iPad:
- Download the PDF file from the Twinkl website to your device.
- Locate the file in your downloaded files and tap to open with the default PDF viewer.
The digital elements will now be fully functional. Remember to save the file as you work on it.
If you are using an Android device:
- Download the PDF file from the Twinkl website to your device.
- Download the Adobe Acrobat app from the Google Play Store. You will need to allow it to access phone files.
- Locate the PDF file in your downloaded files, tap to open, and select Adobe Acrobat when prompted.
The digital elements will now be fully functional. Remember to save the file as you work on it.
If you are using a Mac with Google Chrome:
- Download the PDF file from the Twinkl website to your computer.
- Locate the file in your file browser.
- Open the file in the default Mac PDF viewer "Preview."

If you are using a Mac with Safari:
- Download the PDF file from the Twinkl website to your computer.
- Locate the file in your file browser. By default, this will be your "Downloads" folder.
- Open the file in the default Mac PDF viewer "Preview."
The digital elements will now be fully functional. Remember to save the file as you work on it.
