Twinkl Spelling for Web ... Walkthrough Part 4
In this article, you'll learn more about using Learner Logins for Twinkl Spelling to allow home and school learner access, record progress, customise settings and view reporting.
Learner Logins and Twinkl Spelling
Important: You must be a Twinkl Ultimate Member to use Learner Logins to gain full learner access, record progress, customise settings and view reporting.
What are Learner Logins? How does Twinkl Spelling Use Learner Logins?
Learner Logins are username/password credentials that Twinkl members can create for their learners to allow access to various Twinkl content and services. Learner Logins can be managed via the Manage Learners admin area when logged in as an account holder.
Twinkl Spelling uses Learner Logins to record individual learner progress and allow account holders to view this learner progress in the Twinkl Spelling reporting admin area of their account. Account holders can also customise learner settings using the Twinkl Spelling settings admin area - for example, restricting access to specific worlds.
How Do I Create/Manage Learner Logins?
Learner Logins can be managed (created, deleted and password recovered) via the Manage Learners admin area when logged in as an account holder.

To make bulk changes to all learners, click the bulk settings icon at the top of the table:
You can use the search bar provided to quickly filter by learner name/alias.
Twinkl Spelling can be enabled individually or in bulk, via the "Allow access to Twinkl Spelling" setting:
In addition, account holders can also control the following settings in the same way:
Allow access to Twinkl Spelling? > Enable/disable the web-based Twinkl Spelling app.
Show the in-game exit button? > Allow learner(s) to exit a game without completing all spelling words.
Allow access to all Twinkl Spelling worlds? > Allow learner(s) to access all worlds. If No is chosen, a list of possible worlds is shown for the account holder to choose from. This setting allows an account holder to limit a learner to a specific world so that the content is matched to their spelling ability.
What language would you like to set for the learner? > Set the desired language for the learner(s).
Play letter audio setting: > Whether letter audio plays when used in the game for the learner(s)
How Do I Review Twinkl Spelling Activity/Progress for my Learner Logins?
Twinkl Spelling uses Learner Logins to record individual learner progress and allow account holders to view this learner progress in the Twinkl Spelling reporting admin area of their account.
There are two reporting views, overview and detailed:
Reporting - Overview allows an account holder to see their learners' high level progress at a glance. A table is displayed showing the learners names, the number of gems, stars, medals and total medals awarded. A CSV data export option is also offered.
Reporting - Detailed allows an account holder to see a more granular level of each learner's progress, specifically on a per level basis. A table is displayed showing the learners' names, the names of levels where at least one gem/star has been awarded and the number of gems, stars and the highest medal type awarded.
Reporting - Detailed allows an account holder to filter per learner and per level to produce the specific detailed view they require at any given time. A CSV data export option is offered.
