The Community Collection is our new funding pot for schools and educational organisations.
What is the Twinkl Community Collection?
The Community Collection is our way of helping to fund a project, such as new playground equipment, setting up a new school club, or kickstart big projects, and make sure every child has the best opportunities possible. We’re offering up to £500 for whatever project you like - any school or educational organisation can apply.
We’re open for funding applications all year round.
It’s supported by ticket sales from the Twinkl Prize Draw, where you can give to a good cause and also have a chance to win big!
When can I apply to the Twinkl Community Collection?
Applications are open all year round and winners are selected every month.
Schools and organisations can apply at any point during the year. Applications received will be entered into the round that is open at the time the application is placed.
How do I apply to the Twinkl Community Collection?
Visit the Twinkl Prize Draw Community Collection page and complete the short form available. This will only take a few minutes and will need to be supported by a member of SLT - Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or Business Manager.
How will the schools be selected?
All schools that apply will be assigned a number and the main winner will be selected randomly.
Will more than one school win?
Each month we select one main winner at random to receive £500. We also look to see what other applicants we can support either with items or funds, or by liaising with our network of partners.
When will I hear if my school has been selected?
We aim to contact all successful applicants within 7 days of the closing date.
You will receive an email from the Community Collection Team notifying that you have been successful. You will be asked for the details of the bank account you want money paid into, and once these are received, you should receive the money within 14 working days. Due to an expected high number of requests, unfortunately we won't be able to contact unsuccessful applications.
Are there any restrictions to what I can spend the money on?
Not at all, all we ask is that as part of your application you tell us what you are going to spend the money on and send us a photograph after. This may be shared with Twinkl members and partners through our marketing of the Twinkl Prize Draw and the Community Collection.
If I’m not successful, can I enter again?
Of course, the draw is open to any school/educational organisation across the UK and you can apply as many times as you wish.
