Twinkl Phonics Suite has been designed by a team of teachers and senior practitioners with extensive experience and expertise in the teaching and delivery of phonics within both International and UK Schools.
The Twinkl Phonics Suite App is available to download for Apple iPad via the Apple App Store.
The app requires an Apple iPad device running iOS version 16 or later. For a comprehensive list of devices, refer to the 'Compatibility' section of the relevant App Store listing, as linked above. You won't be able to install this app on an unsupported device. If you have a supported device, but are not yet running iOS 16 or later, please see our 'General App Information' content for more information on updating your device software.
The performance of this App will vary depending upon the performance of your device, we recommend using a modern device for the best experience.
There are a number of ways to access the Twinkl Phonics Suite App, according to your preference, these are as follows:
Try! Mode - Free, no obligation, access to a selection of phonics activities
The Twinkl Phonics Suite App features a Try! mode which offers access to a sample set of phonics activities across multiple phases.
Use this mode to practice your phonics and to evaluate if full app access is right for you, either as a Twinkl subscriber or via a simple in-app purchase.
To access Try mode, simply tap 'Try!' at the top right of the app on the initial login screen.
Twinkl Subscription Login - Free, full, access for all existing and new members with an active Twinkl subscription!
As a Twinkl member with an active subscription, access to the Twinkl Phonics Suite App (and many of our other apps) is completely free for any supported devices that you personally own.
After downloading, just open the app and log in with your Twinkl account details and enjoy full app functionality as part of your subscription.
Your device will need internet connectivity when you first log in and after this, as long as the device can connect on a semi-regular basis to verify your active subscription status, you shouldn't need to log in again. Our Twinkl Apps are specifically designed with offline use in mind, and you can use this app in or out of the classroom with confidence.
A Twinkl account with a paid subscription is a great value way to get access to all of our paid-for apps for one price - plus, access to our website resources and tools too!
Apple iPad Device In-App Purchase - Purchase full app access for all supported iOS devices linked to your Apple ID.
Don't need full Twinkl website access and only want Twinkl Phonics Suite app access? This could be the option for you!
Twinkl Phonics Suite offers an in-app purchase unlock option, for more information on pricing and features unlocked, tap 'Subscribe' on the login screen, or throughout the app when trying to access paid-for features and/or content.
If the app has been unlocked via a valid in-app purchase, no login is required.
Apple iPad device restore a previous purchase
Already purchased an in-app purchase for the Twinkl Phonics Suite app and want to restore your purchase? Perhaps you deleted the app by accident or have a new device linked to your Apple ID (lucky you!)?
To restore your in-app purchase on a device linked to the same Apple ID that you previously made a purchase on, tap 'Subscribe', then tap 'Restore Purchase'. If your previous purchase is no longer valid or has expired, you won't be able to restore this purchase.
If the app has been unlocked via restoring a valid in-app purchase, no login is required.
Volume Purchase - Purchase full app access for multiple devices (Apple iOS Only)
We offer a special, optimized, version of the Twinkl Phonics Suite for anyone interested in bulk purchase and/or managed distribution. We may also be able to customise or develop specific app features for you as part of a bulk purchase.
