You’ll need to give each student permission to access the different Twinkl apps and website resources.
To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Sign in to your Twinkl account, click your name in the top right corner, and select "Learner Management".
Step 2 - Click the edit icon to open the "Learner Profile" box, then choose the "Access" tab.
Step 3 - Turn apps on or off depending on what you’d like your learner to access. Click "Save Access Changes" to keep your updates.
If you want to update permissions for more than one learner, switch to the table view:
- Go to "Learner Apps" from the sidebar.
- Click "Manage App Access" on the right.
- Select the checkboxes next to learner names.
- Turn apps on or off to give or remove access.
App settings
Some apps need a quick setup before your students can start using them. These settings let you control what students see and interact with, so you can match things to their needs and ability level.
Follow these steps to update the settings:
- Go to "Learner Apps" from the Learner Logins sidebar.
- Click "Settings" on one of the apps.
- In the table under "Access", you’ll see whether a student has access or needs setup.
- Click "Manage Settings" to open the options.
- Add the settings for your student, then save your changes.
- To save time, use "Bulk" settings to apply changes to multiple learners at once.
Reporting
Some apps give you insight into student progress and activity, so you can see how they’re getting on.
Follow these steps to see student progress:
- Go to "Learner Apps" from the sidebar.
- Find the app your students have used and click "Reporting".
- You’ll see an overview and the option to view progress of individual students.
