With so many resources available, finding what you need can sometimes feel overwhelming. Twinkl makes it easier by giving you the option to search using keywords or browse through categories, including subject and topic, and learning objective.
Searching
Use the search bar at the top of the web page to enter keywords related to the resource(s) you're looking for. A great tip is to be as specific as possible. For example, searching for “Rainforest” and “layers” will bring up resources specifically related to the layers of the rainforest.
Using double quotation marks around each keyword will help refine your results by excluding similar variations. For instance, searching for "layers" will prevent results that include layering or layered from appearing.
Once the search results appear, you can use the filters on the left of the screen to narrow your results by grade level, language and resource type. This is especially helpful if you're working with English Language Learners or looking for a PowerPoint to support an activity.
You can reset the filters at any time by clicking the "Remove all Filters" button.
Twinkl also takes into account the "Career or Position" and "Age Range" saved to your account to help tailor your search results. You can view or update these settings in the "My Details" section of your account.
Browsing
All Twinkl resources are carefully categorized to make browsing easier. You can start by selecting a grade level, then choose a subject and finally a topic by hovering over or clicking the buttons located under the search bar.
When you’ve clicked on one of these options, you’ll see more categories on the left of the screen to help you find exactly what you need.
Can't find what you're looking for?
If you’re searching for a specific resource and can’t find it, you can make a resource request through the website. Or, get in touch with TwinklCares. Just let them know the grade level, subject, and topic you need, and they’ll be happy to help you find what you’re looking for.
