Sometimes our TwinklCares team might ask you to send a picture of your whole screen so they can help you. There are a few ways to take a picture. The instructions below will guide you on how to take a picture that can be added to an email. Desktop device - Microsoft Windows 7 or 10 To use the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard, first make sure your screen shows the resource or error you want to send to TwinklCares, then press the 'Print Screen' (also known as 'PrtScn') key. Next, right-click in the email and select 'Paste'. This will add the picture to the email. If the picture cannot be added to the email, you can paste it into a Word document and attach the document to the email. To use the 'Snipping' tool, first make sure your screen shows the resource or error you want to send to TwinklCares, then click the start button and type 'snipping tool' in the search bar. Click to open the 'Snipping' tool. When the tool opens, click 'New'. Choose the 'Fullscreen Snip' option from the top of the screen. Once the picture appears, you can save it to attach to your email or copy and paste it into the email. The 'save' and 'copy' options can be found at the top right of the screen. More information on using the snipping tool can be found here. Desktop device - Apple Mac To take a screenshot, press the 'Shift', 'Command' and 3 keys at the same time. The picture will automatically be saved to your desktop and can be attached to your email. More information on how to take a screenshot on your Mac can be found here. Mobile Device If you are using a mobile device, you can use the built-in screenshot feature to take a picture of your screen. This may involve pressing the volume and power buttons or the home and power buttons at the same time. More information on how to take a screenshot can be found on the manufacturer's support site for your mobile device. Please make sure to take a picture of the entire screen and not just a part of it.
